Special Activities

This spring, the Elkhart County Red Cross has utilized a special Service to the Armed Forces grant to increase job preparedness for returning soldiers and veterans. The grant has helped us provide:

• Job-skills and resume training
• A military community resource book for Elkhart County
• An area-wide job fair for all local service members and veterans
• Programs for improving wellness and fitness at home

The grant allowed us to support the troops in new ways on the homefront, and we look forward to coming up with more programs in the next year!
