Youth Services
Every day, a teenager is learning how to save the life of a child under his or her care through a CPR, babysitter, or first aid course. A child is learning to swim in a Red Cross class and a family is learning how to evacuate their home in the event of a disaster.
Our youth also learns how to stay safe and help out during an emergency through the Basic Aid Training (BAT), Babysitter's Training (BST), and other classes for young people. Certified high school students have an opportunity to volunteer as rescue breathing instructors for fourth grade BAT Blitzes.
