You are in luck.....The Elkhart County American Red Cross has scheduled 2 classes!

 

Class I:  Tues, Oct 5th 5:30-10 pm &
             Thurs, Oct 7th 5:30-10 pm**

 

Class II:  Tues, Oct 26th 5:30-10 pm &
               Thurs, Oct 28th 5:30-10 pm**

 

**Must attend both sessions to receive certification**

WE NEED YOUR HELP....

Do you have a child or grandchild who is in elementary school?  Do you like to work with children?  Do you feel the need to help this generation be prepared for emergencies?  If you answered yes to any of the these questions, BAT needs your help!  BAT (Basic Aid Training) is taught to fourth grade students throughout Elkhart County.  If you are interested in volunteering for this great cause, please contact Judy Christophel at the Elkhart Red Cross office 574-293-6519 or by email at judyc@elkhartredcross.org.

Adult CPR $35.00
Click Here for Product Details! This 4 hour course covers recognizes and caring for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. The Adult CPR certificate is valid for one year. This course is especially designed for business and industry and meets the OSHA requirements for CPR training.
Adult CPR with AED $50.00
Click Here for Product Details! This 6 hour course covers recognizes and caring for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. Two certifications are issed upon successful completion of the requirements. The Adult CPR certificate is valid for one year. This course is especially designed for business and industry and meets the OSHA requirements for CPR training. The AED portion teaches how to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
Adult CPR Review $30.00
Click Here for Product Details! You must have a current unexpired American Red Cross Certification in the topic you are reviewing in order to enroll ina review course. Participants will receive a new book only. Upon successful completion of requirements, an Adult CPR certification will be renewed for one year.
Adult/Child CPR $45.00

Adult/Child CPR Review $40.00
Click Here for Product Details! This review class is for those who are hold their current (non-expired) Adult/Child CPR Certification. This course covers ages 1 through 100 years and fulfills the new Indiana State Teachers requirements. This is a review class only.
Blood Borne Pathogens $25.00
Click Here for Product Details! This 1 hour class is designed for individuals whose jobs involve "reasonable anticipation" of exposure to blood or other body fluids that could cause infection. This module addresses how diseases are transmitted, how to protect against disease transmission, how to minimize the chances of exposure, and what to do if an exposure occurs. Employers can offer this program to thier employees as part of their compliance with OSHA regulations.
Infant/Child CPR $40.00
Click Here for Product Details! Designed for those who care for children, either full time or occasionally. This course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 8 years. Participants take home a refresher skills card as well as information about preventing injuries. A list of dates available are listed below.

CPR Professional $80.00
Click Here for Product Details! CPR for the Professional Rescuer This 9 hour course is intended for the professional responder and is usually held in two 4 1/2 hours sessions. Training includes: one and two person rescuer CPR, using a resuscitation mask and using a bag valve mask. A one-year certification is issued upon completion of the requirements. This course includes a reusable CPR mask in a nice case. We must have 6 people to run this class. Once class enrollment reaches 6, we will contact you.
First Aid $35.00

You will be able to administer a splint, treat sudden illnesses and deal with heat and cold related emergencies. This course meets the OSHA requirements. A 3 year certification is given.
