Volunteers are individuals who reach out beyond the confines of paid employment and normal responsibilities to contribute time and service to a nonprofit cause in the belief that their activity is beneficial to others as well as satisfying themselves.

Everyday, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies...whether it's half a million dollar disaster or one sick child who needs blood.  People like you, who learn how good it can feel to lend a helping hand, make our vital work possible.  Red Cross everyday heroes come from all walks of life. They are all ages. Everyone has something special to offer...including YOU.
