About Us
The Elkhart County Chapter of the American Red Cross is an organization of trained volunteers and staff. We seek to improve the quality of life for individuals and strive to ease human suffering through education, preparation, prevention and direct response. We stand as a ready resource as needs arise for our community and neighboring communities throughout the world. With the help of our volunteers we are able to fulfill this mission through the following services:
- Disaster Services
- International Services
- Services to Armed Forces
- Health and Safety Services
- Blood Services.
As part of our work to help the community prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies we also offer a number of community disaster education classes on topics such as tornadoes, floods. Red Cross also assists at Health Fairs and by providing First Aid Stations at community events.The American Red Cross is not a government agency and depends on the generousity of the American people for support.
